The LGAQ this week appeared before a key parliamentary committee to put the case of local government regarding the legislative reforms arising out of the Crime and Corruption Commission’s Belcarra recommendations.
LGAQ acting chief executive Sarah Buckler, team leader of intergovernmental relations Josh O’Keefe and partner of law firm King and Co Tim Fynes-Clinton spoke to the Association’s submission to the Economics and Governance Committee’s inquiry into the Local Government Electoral (Implementing Stage 1 of Belcarra) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2018.
