The Looking after Country Grants Program is now open for applications. This Program supports on-ground projects that conserve the environment and cultural resources on Country, with grants of up to $75,000 per project available to successful applicants.
Project activities that may be funded through the grant program include:
- cultural heritage site management
- protected species monitoring and conservation
- habitat restoration
- feral animal and weed management
- fire management
- erosion control and
- the development and implementation of country management plans.
Applications close Friday 10 August 2018 at 5pm.
