Wellness Expo was a fantastic effort by all involved.
I couldn't participate in most things due to other commitments but what I did manage to see, do and benefit from, was excellent and explains a lot as to why LGAQ is far more than a place to work.

LGAQ is by far the best company/organisation I have worked for!
Tristan Douran | Member Services Officer (at six month probation)
I have loved my time working at the Association and immersing myself in the vibrant, interesting and colourful world of local government. During my two years at LGAQ I have certainly had some amazing adventures, from flying over the Torres Strait to driving through the outback in 42 degree heat dodging emus! A big highlight for me has been the opportunity to visit and meet mayors and councillors, as well as being treated to such generous local tours by councils, which I feel very privileged to have experienced all over the state.
The Association looks after its employees, from hot yoga membership discounts to family friendly policies. It’s a supportive and flexible working environment, with a positive work culture. A great place to work.
