Astra Dadzis is our new Media & Communications Advisor for the LG Image Campaign. 
Astra has commenced with the LGAQ for a 12 month project to assist the media team to design, build and manage a media and communications strategy to improve public perceptions of local government in Queensland.  The team will be working to pre position the sector ahead of a likely referendum on Constitutional Recognition of Local Government in 2012.
Astra has extensive experience in communications and dealing with media, having worked as Media Advisor in the Office of the Premier in SA, and at QUT. Astra's experience also includes a communications management role in a peak industry body. Astra undertook her Journalism Cadetship with News Limited.
