Click on the links for more information on key areas of Disaster Management. Legislation: The Queensland Disaster Management System is established under the Queensland Disaster Management Act, 2003. Concepts and Principles: Disaster Management in Queensland is guided by nationally and internationally accepted Concepts and Principles. Framework and Structures: The Queensland Disaster Management System comprises a range of Committees and Groups.
