Local Government is at the forefront of economic development, and as part of the LGAQ's Economic Development Strategy, we are committed to providing information and access to resources, whilst building the capacity of Councillors and staff to deliver better services and increased prosperity in their communities.

Since 2005, the Economic Development Liaison project has clocked up thousands of kilometres touring the State speaking with regional organisations of councils, regional economic development organisations, state development centres, councillors, elected members and council staff.
