Queensland Strategy for Disaster Resilience: Open for consultation
QLD Strategy for disaster resilience
The Queensland Reconstruction Authority is currently engaging with a range of organisations to shape the development of an Implementation Plan for the Queensland Strategy for Disaster Resilience.
The Strategy, with the stated vision of making Queensland the most disaster resilient state in Australia, acknowledges the important work already being delivered to build resilience to disaster events.
A survey has been developed to give local government representatives the opportunity to show:
- the great work local government is doing to build resilience
- what is working well that could be implemented elsewhere in Queensland
- how we can better coordinate our efforts in the future
The will take approximately five minutes to complete. All information collected in the survey will remain confidential and the QRA will seek formal approval prior to making any specific references to your work.

Closing date: Friday 13 October 2017.
